Hi people, since I'd rather leave my real name out of this you can call me wolfboy702. As posted in the description I will be posting ideas and theories I have about the slender man and other relevant topics. I have yet to encounter "it" and hope I will not do so in the near future, but by scouring the internet for blogs and documents of those who have, I have been able to put together a profile on known information about Slender man.

Origins: The slender man was supposedly created on the SomethingAwful Forums paranormal thread by a user named victor surge. Many of the initial reports and photos of the slender man have come from this forum. Some pictures on the internet show slender man in pictures dating as far back as ancient egypt. Also Germany is supposed to have a fairy called the GroBB man a.k.a "the tall man" who lived in the black forest and kidnapped children who ventured too far into the woods. However all of these rumors were fabricated by the somethingawful crew in order to add to slender mans story. The most likely explanation for his existence is that the sheer amount of people focusing on it created a tulpa, an entity that is created purely out of the combined thoughts many people.

Description: There are many disputes over Slender mans exact look but all witnesses agree with the common description that slender man appears as a very tall, faceless man in a black business suit with at least six tentacle like appendages that appear to be able to stretch to incredible lenghts. These tentacles are sometimes concealed within its suit or appear as hands that make him appear more humanoid. Its face or lack of is supposed to instill intense fear in whoever slender man looks at, though looking at its face in a photo appears to not have the same effect.

Abilities: Slender man is said to be from another dimension and as a result does not follow many of realities laws. He is able to teleport while not being observed, though looking at him seems to disable this ability, despite a few cases of him dissapearing while under direct observation. His tentacles are most likely his deadliest asset, as they have been reported to slice through humans with surprising ease and delicacy, allowing slender man to make short work of anyone foolish enough to get close to it. It also seems to be able to resist most if not all forms of physical assult. It has supposedly been beaten with various metal and wooden items, shot at by several types of firearms including shotguns and automatic rifles and even been struck by heavy artillery, surviving all of them without any sign of injury. One person mentioned that it seemed to absorb the bullets into itself. It also has some kind of hypnotic ability, which forces people to obey it. These people then ither have their mind wiped of the experience and are then allowed to continue their life, or they are turned into proxies, human husks that do slender mans bidding and nothing else.
